Hey Guys,

I am in a little fix here. I am not sure whether the relative I have in Canada can contribute to any points in my EoI profile. So, here's the relation I have with them -

My father's sister's daughter and her husband live in Canada. She is a homemaker, while her husband is a Chemical Engineer. Do you think I can specify this relation in the EE profile?

Thanking in anticipation.

Best!

father's sister's daughter? She's your cousin then right?

Close relative defines as a child, mother or father, brother or sister, aunt or uncle, niece or nephew, grandchild or grandparent.

Anyway, there is no advantage for having close relative residing in Canada in EE grid point system (out of 1200) but you'll get 5 points in FSW grid(out of 100) if you have any of those listed.

No - you can't. She is your cousin and doesn't meet the "family in Canada" definition.
