Hi Guys, I am in the process of filling in the details on the CIC website to submit my application and get into the pool for EE. I have a couple of questions before I submit my application and I would appreciate your help.
1. 2 out of 3 of my previous employments already account for >3 years of full time work. In that case, do I still need to add my first employer in my profile? Are there any advantages of doing this? (If it’s not mandatory, it saves me the trouble to get the reference letters from the company)
2. I have been working for company X since Jan 2017-present, however from Jan 2017-May 2018, I was employed by a 3rd party company Y and working on a full time contract for company X. From June 2018, I got on to company X’s payroll as a permanent employee. Both roles have a different job description. How do I put this in my profile?
- For the period between Jan 2017 - May 2018, do I write the employer name as “company X” or “company Y”? Or “company X (contractually hired by company Y)”. The reference letter will be provided by company Y but will mention that I was working for company X. Company X might “hopefully” also give me a supplementary letter stating that I was working for them during this time however the job responsibilities will only be described in the letter from company Y.
3. My official job title during Jan 2017- May 2018 was “KYC Officer” - the job revolved around conducting CDD (client due diligence) for corporate banking clients. What would be the best NOC to put this under?
