There's a decent chance I'll be getting a job offer from a BC employer soon under the Tech stream so I started creating a BC PNP and EE profiles for this. However, I hesitated a bit with the EE application as I read " If you’re married or have a common-law partner, one of you must be the main or principal applicant. This person will submit a profile and list the spouse or partner in it" on the canada.ca website.
The thing is, we also want to apply to FSW with my wife being the principal applicant later this year if the BC PNP thing doesn't pan out. Is that ok for me to create a standalone EE application or should my wife create it first as a principal applicant and then I'll get my EE number and Job Seeker code to use in the PNP profile? Maybe you can point me in the right direction where I can read more about the process or maybe you just share the answer if you know it.
