I created my EE profile on July 15th 2015, and received a PT Notification of interest for OINP on 23rd December.

All of my documents were submitted to immigration on 25th January 2016, and I have since heard nothing.

My EE profile is due to expire on 15th July this year.

What do I do?

You can only stay in the Express Entry pool for one year from the date you were accepted into it.

Your Express Entry profile will expire if you are not invited to apply in those 12 months. If it expires, your profile will be removed from the system and you will get a message in your MyCIC telling you so.

If your profile is about to expire, you can save screen shots of (or print out) your profile to make it easier to re-enter your data. Do not create a new profile until your existing one expires. You can create a new profile at any time once yours expires.

If you decide to create and submit a new profile before your existing one expires, you will need to withdraw your existing profile first.

I think you are able to renew your profile, just sign up again to enter the pool. If you want to be really sure just send Ontario an email or call them and ask them if you are okay to just re make your profile when it expires, just make sure your points do not go below 400.

Does my application pack to OINP also expire along with my $1500 though?

Also, please note to intimate OINP about the new profile. You will have to send the following information to OINP.

1. The Express Entry number/job seeker validation code for your new profile;
2. A copy of the letter you have received from Citizenship and Immigration Canada acknowledging the new profile; and
3. A letter explaining why you created a new profile and a list of the additional or updated information you provided in your new Express Entry profile.

When I am creating a new profile, I am being asked reference code. Should I use to previous reference code, or generate a new one?
