EE Profile - Can I Update EE profile once submitted?

Applying under FSW, so using the points for my old job, however I have a job in Canada, but I am in it only 8 months, is there any point in putting it into my EE profile if it won't be worth any points as it is less than 12 months? Also if I do not and I am still in the pool with my EE in 4 months time, can I update my EE profile?

And I am correct in saying that for the FSW route there is no point in putting in my current job as it is less than 1 year? i.e. it won't help that I do have a job currently?

It won't help you until one year is completed.
