EE post AOR pending COPR, QC short study stay

Dear forum members,

I have an EE application with a November 2020 AOR. I am currently studying in a University outside of Canada and got nominated for a 6 month exchange program starting fall 2022 (Sept/Oct) in Montréal, QC, Canada.

In case my PR hasn't been approved by then, which seems likely, would I run into significant problems in case I had to do the landing procedure while inland in Quebec? Maybe flagpole somewhere else in Canada? I'd still have to return to my original country of studies to finalize my degree there.

I'd appreciate your input!

Sorry for the ping. Any idea of what my approach could be? I'll be arriving to Montreal in August, as per exchange directives. In case my file hasn't been approved, would there be any issue (or benefit) with notifying IRCC once I'm in Canada?
