EE points for getting a 3y Degree with adv placement ?

hi guys !

I'm going to attend a 3 years Bachelor Degree program here in Canada, but I will join the program with advanced placement direct to the second year, so I will finish my studies in 2 years instead of 3.

I know my final credential piece of paper will worth as a 3 years Bachelor Degree... but people warned me that in the EE I might get less point, for example the same as a 2 years diploma and not points for 3y degree because I spent less time in school....

Is this true ??

( for example for PGWP they don't make any difference, if you finish a school in less time you will be eligible for a work permit of the length of your study program, not for as long as you been in school )

As far as i know it will not affect , i have a friend who graduated in two yrs instead of 3.
He got his 3 yrs work permit and he got his PR invite as well.
