In the current scenario, anyone having more than 3 yrs exp are given same points....so 10 yrs really is not an advantage now ...to get visa....to get a job , it might b an advantage though..ahmad72 said:Dear Members
I have more than 10 year experience in my NOC , in my home country . Can I get some points on this basis.
doubtfull abt the job part too.. unless a person is high qualified with special degree.. for eg my category accounts/finance.. merely having MBA wont be good.. but someone having CMA or CFA would b at a big advantage..preeti.msingh109 said:In the current scenario, anyone having more than 3 yrs exp are given same points....so 10 yrs really is not an advantage now ...to get visa....to get a job , it might b an advantage though..

I have ACCA (UK), Msc (UK) and CFA Level 2.. do you think I will get job in Canada?
Administrators, Accountants were barred from applying for CEC category. That is why not many LMIA's were issued. I think they are still barred in CEC atleastjassu2 said:you hav higher chances than me atleast.. lol..
u shld concentrate on completing CFA.. tat would basically land u good job anywhere in the world leave alone canada..
to b frank i m tryin on CMA and will probably pick on CFA after tat..
now heres the deal abt LMIA.. google search "LMIA statistic"... it takes u to cic website where stats are available since last 4 or 5 years.. and sad part is finance, accounts, admin jobs are having only 1% of the total LMIAs issued.. in other terms its a big lucky shot if u r able to get LMIA.. but as i said having CFA increases your opportunities a lot..
