EE- How to notorise "Statutory Declaration of Common Law Union"

Hi All,

I recieved my EE invite, Me and my partner applied under common law. Now the doc checklist asks for "Statutory Declaration of Common Law Union"

I have downloaded this form and duly filled it. My question is whom should sign as Notary public, commission of oath, commissioner of taking affidavit"

We both are from India, And this is CANADIAN Form, Will Indian law firm/lawyer suitable to sign this document.

Yes, they will.

Ask around for any lawyer who is a cretified notory of the public. In the UK they mention that it is usually a lawyer who has completed a mini course.

As a side note, what other evidence will you be submitting for common law proof?

We have rental lease,(12 months)
Joint bank statement, (6 months)
Friends & Family affidavit, (1.4 years)
Nominee for mutual funds statement
Photograph of important occasions
Utilities purchase and bill in same address of living

I am now stuck with this statutory declaration form!!!.

Hi guys,

In regard to the Statutory Declaration of Common Law Union (IMM5409E), do we the need to bring the evidence/proof of our common law relationship along when going to the Notary Public? Or just attach the evidence/proof afterwards when uploading all the documents online?
