EE CEC Next Steps Post Medical - ITA 8th Feb AOR 9th Feb

Hi All,

Please help me understand the post medical process from your experience or your knowledge until the last process.
I applied Express Entry with total points of 447 and got invited under CEC

Express Entry Profile Created: 22nd Nov 2016
First Time Points: 437 (Nov-Dec-Jan)
Second Time Points: 447 (Feb 2017)
Profile Updated: 6th Feb 2017
ITA Received: 8th Feb 2017
AOR Received: 9th Feb 2017 (with pre-medical, RCMP and paid all fees including RPRF)
Medical Passed Status Change: 6th Mar 2017

Please advise

You've passed your medicals. It means you don't have any health problems preventing you from PR.

next steps are background check and usually that comprises of number of things like security check , validity of documents and such which can take anywhere from 1 to 2 months or more till the PPR email

So technically background check is the last step before PPR email ? so from today the latest i get PPR email would be 6th May (2 months from today), is that correct ?
Also what is PPR email ?

yeah i guess i mean i'm at the same step as you just telling you what i've heard and read so far on forums.

How much time it takes on an average from BG Check In progress to get a PPR ?
