EE application with husband in US and wife in India

Hey guys,

I have a question. Not really sure if there is an open thread on this.

I am in US and my wife is in India. My wife is taking an extended vacation and taking care of our 11 month old daughter. we are both Indian citizens and our daughter is a US citizen. If I receive an ITA, can we apply for PR eventually even though we are residing in two different countries now? Will there be any challenges?

Since its an e-APR, there is no challenge as far as the applicant's geographical location is concerned as long as one of you has all the required documents for the application.

What may be an issue is for PPR, but you can cross that bridge when it comes, which is 5-6 months hence.
 
Is PPR request for passport ? I am new to EE . pls don't mind dumb questions.
