EE application cancelled due to missing PCC. New profile has lower CRS score.

Hi guys,

So my application for permanent residency (CEC) was rejected due to missing PCC. I submitted a PCC from my country of residence and would have gotten a Canadian if they asked for it.
I lived in Barcelona, Spain for a year while studying. I will try to get the police certificate and submit a case specific enquiry. Hopefully they will reopen my case, but I know that will take a miracle.

My main concern is that I had 477 points with my previous profile. My new one is exactly the same, but the scores dropped to 438.

I dont know if something changed in the system or the rankings. Does anyone have experience with this?

They cancelled you because you hadn't sent a Canadian PCC?

I didn't think anyone sent one did they even if they lived in Canada? Only for previous countries they've lived?

They cancelled because I didnt send the police certificate from Spain.

Dominican Republic - PCC sent
Spain - PCC not sent
Canada - Would have provided if asked for

Ah! Almost gave me a heart attack.

There have been a few people saying their points changed but I don't personally have knowledge of this area sorry. Could it be to do with dates, e.g. some work experience no longer valid, birthdays, etc.?

To explain that sudden lack of 39 points the only realistic options appear to be,

1. Spouse IELTS expired

2. 2nd language assessment expired

3. Lost points after a birthday

4. Some combination of the above

5. You've entered something incorrectly.

Hi,

I've studied in Madrid, Spain for a year and I plan to apply for the Spain PCC by the coming week . My score is 451 and hoping to receive an ITA in next one month.

Have you already applied/received your Spain PCC? How long did the process take? I'm concerned as I see there's no way of tracking your PCC application as it's sent by post. I tried calling the Spain office, however surprisingly they don't have anyone who speaks English; unfortunately I don't speak Spanish.
