Much to my shock, my PR application has been cancelled as incomplete. The reason being, is that Australian residents that have lived in Victoria or Queensland must apply for a drivers licence check ONTOP of the National Police Check. I did not submit a drivers history for Victoria as I have never owned a vehicle or had a Victorian licence, I also wasn't aware of this clause.
What I need to know is this; I applied for the BOWP as instructed, along with my PR.
The BOWP is still being processed,
My PR was 'cancelled due to being incomplete' today.
What happens to my implied status as my PR application was cancelled, not rejected, and I was not given any direction to leave the country. CIC suggested I re-apply and that was the entirety of the letter.
A friend of a friend that used a lawyer had the same thing happen and her lawyer said she was ok to work UNTIL the decision on the BOWP came back.
Has this happened to anyone? What should I do
