Hi All,

I am a professional currently employed in USA. I have received my Masters degree(2 years) from USA and Bachelors degree(4 years) from India. I had the following questions regarding ECA for initiating the Express entry profile

1. Since my highest level of education is Masters, is it ok to get the ECA done only for my Master's degree? I could see that with Masters ECA i could cross the 67 points eligibility criteria for FSW and i could initiate the application. However, is it advised to get the ECA done for Bachelor degree as well?. If yes, how would that contribute since CRS only looks at the highest level of education to decide the overall points

2. My Bachelor degree is not from an autonomous university list as specified by WEC and other designated agencies. How do get an ECA done for that in this case (if required).

I would seek help from seniors and others who had the same question and got it answered. Thanks for your help.

Education verification only for highest degree is sufficient.

The cost of verification for Bachelor + Master is same as cost for verification of Masters. Hence, may be getting both verified could be helpful if in case, master degree isnt evaluated as masters by WES (there are plenty of such cases, it also happened to me). In case master isnt evaluated as masters, then evaluation of bachelor would be required.

But if you are confident (and since its US degree) that your masters will be evaluated as masters then no need to evaluate bachelor.

Hi
i have my bachelors from india and masters from canada.
I did get the wesICAP done fir my bachelors degree.
do i need to apply for eca again? Or just ask them to issue me an eca based on the wesICAP?
