Education verification

I am going to apply for skilled worker program.
I wonder whether all my education certificates have to be verified by a Canadian organisation, such as my diploma from college.

If yes, do I have to get the verification in hand before I start whole application process?

Anyone knows comparatively good and cheap organisation for it.?
