Education Transcripts

Happy new year!

I received my PR, I will be starting to search jobs in Canada. I would like to know if I need to carry my Educational transcripts along with my marksheets? will companies ask educational transcripts during hiring.

Appreciate if you can provide information in this regard.

no, most (if not all) companies do not ask for transcripts when you are applying for jobs. they may ask for copies of diplomas/degrees, so it's good to keep those handy just in case.

If you plan to study then you will need a credential evaluation from ICAS/WES. These organizations will ask for mark sheets/transcripts attested by the the university (sealed & stamped in envelope). Depending upon course, colleges/universities will ask for a general or course-by-course evaluation. Employers mostly require general evaluation.
