Good day,

Can we still claim points for work experience under an occupation code that has Employment Requirements like below even if I don't have masters degree?
  • "A master's degree in economics or in a related discipline such as business administration or statistics is usually required."
Thank you.

4162 which does say that. But is it required to count work experience points for express entry?
Yes, when you are asked about the first date you were certified or authorized to practice this experience its the date you have earned the required degree. For example in your country you been practicing 4162 since ever (you mention your start date) but first date you were authorised to do so is when you earned you MA.

My work experience is as follows

company A - 1 year 3 months (nov 2015 to March 2017

company B - 1 year (dec 2017 to dec 2018)

company c - March 2020-March 2021 (1year)

so can I claim 3 years of work experience points under FSW

I politely disagree.

I have seen x number of posts and talked to two IRCC registered consultants.

You need not display the employment requirements of the NOC.

The above gentleman may just say that he was eligible for working after his bachelors.

He may have a bachelor's in music to work as a financial analyst...rare case but it is possible in IRCC eyes.
