Education requirement for NOC 12200 – Accounting technicians and bookkeepers

Hi

I currently hold an Associate Degree from a Canadian institution as my highest level of education, and I am preparing to file my application under NOC 12200. One of the employemt requirements (mentioned below) for this position is a secondary school education. Do I still need to obtain a WES evaluation for my Grade 12 credentials, even though my highest qualification was completed in Canada?

Employment requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting) or courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required.

You do not need WES if your highest degree was in Canada!

Hi but as per 12200 – Accounting technicians and bookkeepers in the Employment requirements section is it clearly mentioned, also I moved to North West Territory for Northwest Territories Nominee Program program but still my highest is my Canadian education. My immigration representative is asking me get WES for my 12th.

That's odd! Because I have seen similar cases where people with you NOCs just submitted their Canadian bachelors and didn't have to get WES done for their 12th.
