Hi All,

Do you know how much points will be awarded for a ACCA member (20,22,0) with no bachelors degree? I applied to CIO in April 2010 but i am a bit concerned as some ppl from home country are getting refused with ACCA.....this is the response they are getting:

"Should you have a Diploma/Degree from an accredited educational institution that you wish to submit for consideration, please submit within 30 days of the letter.

For your information, under the immigration and refugee protection act
Professional credentials and training for credential such as ACCA do not form part of a program of study from an accredited institution of learning and do not result in an educational credential. Therefore education points cannot be awarded for these studies."

Can any one of the seniors help? Qorax, PMN etc.. or anyone else with info on this topic....please help me, i attended classes for ACCA and i got a letter from my school.

As the statement in the letter said, the ACCA is a professional qualification and not an educational degree for which you're awarded a class.

On the other hand, you can try obtaining a letter of equivalence from the ACCA. If you're a qualified memebr, visit the member area and click on contact. You can request for for the 'letter of equivalence via' the web contact after entering your membership number.
