Hi,

Your total tuition fees : CAD 12,000
Living Expenses (as per SPP/General Visa checklist) : CAD 8,000

Total : CAD 20,000 (approx. Rs. 9,60,000)

You need a minimum 80 % of the above said figure : Rs. 7,68,000
You loan amount : Rs. 9 Lacs

I quote :

“at least 80% of tuition +living + travel expenses for one academic year (normally, first year’s tuition, unless already paid, plus $8000).”

Now, even after paying your tuition from the loan amount you still have more thn enough to show. You can deduct your first term paid fees from the total minimum required amount of 80 percent.

Bang on Enfield...that's the clear cut interpretation of the 80 percent rule !!
