Education loan letter !!

Hey guys ,
i have applied in niagara college for the january intake for culinary management as it is one of the best college for this course ..
I have already paid the first semester's fees .i.e:- 3 lakh 26 thousand ....nw i need a education loan letter ....
this is such a trouble !! banks are just so useless ......they give u heaps of forms with countless conditions to sign n fill ....then they work so pathetically that i think they will take atleast 2-3 mnths ...
i am really worried !! i want to complete all my paperwork fast and apply for my visa !! plz help me out guys

i applied for SBI and went through hell to get it sanctioned.

do u have FD s worth the total cost? then u can make an FD and then get an edu loan based on that. but even that will take a month or so if u don't have any source in the bank.

m from punjab.. I also have a education loan of 10lacs from state bank of patiala under gayan jyoti scheme. They provided me a loan in just 1 day. Things in this scheme u need to do that u need to arrange the whole amount of ur requested loan as cash and make a FD in state bank of patiala and ask manager to complete paper work for loan under gyan jyoti scheme. One more thing is that u need to deposite a security amnt with loan amnt. Like i need 10lacs loan and i have made a FD of 11.20lacs cash and they provide me loan of 10lacs. First make a estimate of ur total fee and living costs in canada during ur stay in canada and tell to manager that we need this much amnt loan. A good thing in this that they deduct interest only on that amnt which u withdraw from loan to pay ur installment. I dont think SBI is good one at all in terms of time. Y u didnt try with HDFC or other one like them?

hey as i know both SBI & HDFC not good in education loan because they have no scheme for education loans they only deals with OD and against that OD they issued a amount that can be used for any purpose including education and living cost during the stay in Canada, but a blind side of this is that banks are not ready to add a line in loan letter that "We have sanctioned a secured Education Loan against this OD" they add sentence only that this OD can be used for any lawful purpose in Canada.. i think this thing is not correct for education because Canadian emabasy don't recognize it, they need only education loan any how you arrange it..they just need a word secured education is sanctioned that's it.

Bro i dnt have a fd worth rs 10 lakhs or sumthing ...bt i have applied in karnataka bank ...
collatral is volvo bus(worth Rs 40 lakhs) ...as we have a transport business .... see money is nt a problem,wen it cums to 3-4 lakhs like for paying the fees ,semester wise but 11-12 lakhs ki FD is a difficult thing mayb ...
lets c ..the bank has said that they will sanction my loan in a week ...lets c
by the for which college n course have u applied ??

i just want to play safe n dnt take ny chance !!

Hey n by d way ..one more thing !!
Does embassy checks the education loan sanction letter from bank or nt ..i mean can we submit a fake one ?? (will nt do dis ) just asking
