Hello everyone,
I came to Canada in 2012 as a master student, the tentative program from 2012 to 2014. After the first year, I transferred to the PhD program in 2013. I have a letter from the University stating that I "had a change of category from a MSc to PhD, effective September 2013" and the new program is expected until 2018.
When filing the Education part, I don't know if I can put 2012-2013 as master degree or not. In the Standing at the end of study period, there are 3 options:
1. In good standing but no certificate or diploma or degree awarded
2. Certificate or diploma or degree awarded
3. Not completed
Is the letter from my University considered as a certificate? If not, I must answer No for the later question:
Was Nho Hung Dinh awarded a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate for this period of study?
And if I answer No, then a converted certificate (for example by ICAS) is needed.
Please give me some information on my case. Thank you so much.
Hung
