In my personalized checklist, I was asked to upload degree and transcripts while my spouse is supposed to upload degree only. How come?

Also, reminds me others weren't asked upload these at all except the ECA report.

Are you sure it says degrees and transcripts? The personalized checklist typically asks for upload of degree certificates and ECA report. If your wife's ECA wasn't done and you haven't claimed any points for it but you've still mentioned her educational credentials, the system might be prompting you to upload the degree. Do confirm if that is the case.

Both of us have an ECA and submitted the ref number in the EE profile prior getting the ITA. There is no where it asks for ECA, not even in the help button. I have 2 separate slots, 1 for degree and another for transcripts.

Seems like another technical glitch. I can confirm that the system asks for ECA report and degree certificate only and it is supported by CIC here.

To receive program-specific points for education, the applicant must either

provide proof of having completed a Canadian secondary or post-secondary educational program; or

obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) and provide the ECA reference number in their application, along with proof of the foreign educational credentials for which points are being claimed.

Proof of completed Canadian or foreign educational credentials can include copies of secondary or post-secondary education documents (certificates, diplomas or degrees); and transcripts for successfully completed secondary or post-secondary studies, if available.

Where an ECA has been obtained, the applicant must provide the ECA reference number in their e-APR for online validation directly with the issuing organization.

A scanned copy of the ECA is not required when submitting the e-APR but may be requested by CIC at a later date.

Recommend that you upload both ECA reports, all degree certificates and respective transcripts.

I understand that uploading the ECA is inevitable, it was weird it wasn't asked for explicitly. I was planning to re-do the questions again.

Like I sadi, weird technical glitch. Try doing the section again to see if anything changes else proceed with uploading all of those. Doesn't hurt to give them more than asked when their system screws up the process.

Here's my situation. I did a 5-year BSc degree. 1st year was done in City A, University A and then 4 years in City B, University B.

This is basically the same program, specialty and degree awarded through out governmental universities. So in my education and personal history I have to include these separately, 1st year and 2nd years?

If yes, in Education it will ask if I was awarded a degree, obviously no, but should I put in good standing or not completed?

If they were in the same country, stick to 1 line item and City B/University B.

But then they ask for transcripts to be uploaded. Transcript 1 says City A (1st year) and Transcript 2 says "1st year taken in University A".

Under EE, transcripts are not asked for Foreign education credentials. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Seriously? What does it say? I have never even had a transcript in my possession, since my schools prefer to send them directly to other schools or agencies.
