Hello!
My husband and I plans to immigrate in Canada via Express Entry. Aside from preparing our savings account to meet the requirement, I'm also checking if our educational background also meets the requirement. Or if it will be considered in Canada. My husband completed 1 year and 1 semester in College majored in Drafting. He holds almost 10 years of work experience in Steel Detailing and plans to get a certification from Tekla. On the other hand, I have completed 1 year in college majored in Information Technology. I also completed 1 semester of Psychology course. I have 10 years of work experience in the BPO and currently working at home as a Telemarketer.
I would like to know if it will be a wise move to have our Education assessed by WES (https://www.wes.org) to check if our credentials would meet at least the minimum requirement in Canada.
Also, I would like to seek advise if going back to school and pursue my Psychology course would be a good idea before we apply for Canada. I am eyeing 3-4 years from now before applying since we are still saving. We are a family of 3.
Thank you in advance!
