What Immigration people check is if your job responsibilities mentioned on your reference letters/experience letters matches with your chosen NOC. If it doesn't match , they could even reject your application , so be careful and never rely fully on consultants.
Thank u .... fortunately my experience letters all of them match the NOC... which means qualification does not matter...
See it depends. Some NOC codes requires higher qualification. Like if I give u the example of an Accountant. In order to use NOC 1111 , one has to be qualified licenced accountant. A degree person cannot claim the experience of using NOC 1111 without chartered certification.In this case, the application will be rejected for sure.
So qualification does matter in a way. It is linked with your NOC.

You are right ...ok so if I am applying for NOC 4214 and if my qualification is bachelor of Commerce and I have a one year post Graduate diploma in Early Childhood care and education is that fine ....
The Employment Requirements
Early childhood educators would need to have:
- Completed a two to four year college program in early childhood education or a bachelor’s degree in child development
- A licence issued by a provincial or territorial association for early childhood educators (ECE)
- Completed secondary school
- Experience in child care
- Completed an early childhood education assistant certificate program or post-secondary courses in early childhood education and,
- A licence issued by a provincial or territorial association for early childhood educators (ECE)
Would a Post Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education be accepted.... I have nearly 11 years of experience....

REQUIREMENTS:

Early childhood educator assistants perform some or all of the following duties:
Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
Lead children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing craft materials
Prepare and serve snacks
Arrange rooms and furniture for lunch and rest periods
Assist with proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
Submit written observations on children to supervisor
Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Assist supervisor in keeping records
Maintain day-care equipment and assist in housekeeping duties.
I would recommend you to first match ur responsibilities with canadian requirements and then match your qualification.
If you think u are over qualified but ur experience matches with the requirements, thats perfectly fine. You are safe.
But try to not to be under qualified, it will increase ur chances of facing rejection.
