Edmonton - From Test to DM

I took my test last Nov. 10 in Edmonton, during the interview the officer said EVERYTHING is OKAY and I can expect oath invitation that could happen by December/January.

I am fine with that if that is the estimated time frame to take the oath. But looking at the regular feedback from majority of applicants who took their exam in Edmonton, their status changed from In-Process to DM within the day of the exam, the following day or 2 days after - Im happy for them as they see movement on their status

It is very frustrating that the officer said EVERYTHING is okay but Im still stuck with In-process status making me think why my status did not changed if everything is okay.

I just want to know if I am on the same boat with the other applicant in Edmonton or I am included on few number of applicant on this situation

If your status shows "In process" after the test, that just means that your background/criminality check is still in progress.

You could call the ircc call center and ask what's the hold up. Alternatively, you could order GCMS notes on your file. Personally, just give it another month.

I recommend GCMS too as mentioned by razorblade...It will tell you about your security clearance and any concerns they may have
