I am applying for PR under Geological/Geotechnical engineer occupation (NOC 2144).

In my appoinment letters, the name of the post is given as Senior geotechnical engineer, Senior engineer-civil, Engineer-civil, etc. though my job was related to Geotechnical only.

While filling the Occupation column in the work experience section, should I mention only the occupation name (Geological/Geotechnical Engineer) which is listed in 38 eligible occupation list OR should I write the post name mentioned in my appoinment letters??

Please guide...

You may write you post name.... it do not effect at all...Duties should be same as defined in NOC

To be more specific, I had been posted as an Engineer - Civil when I joined the company first, but later got promoted as a Senior Engineer - Civil.
My job profile was the same in both cases.

In this case, do I need to describe both the positions or is it enough to just give the details under one post name??

Please advice

As I know it should be according to your title matches with NOC list.

In appointment letters it cna be different but in teh Forms it shoudl be accordint to the list and duties should be accordingly.
