Ecas?

Hi everyone..

Did anyone here actually removed/deleted the viewing of online status on your Ecas?
Does it affect anything at all?
And if you did, what are the other ways of finding out about your current application status?
Or just wait for the good ol' email from CIC?

I have not tried it but if you google Ecas you will come across a website which claims to be able to acquire information from Ecas and undertakes to alert you if there are any changes in it. I suppose that clicking the removal button will disable any authorisation you may have given to access your information. Or I suppose it could have the same effect as an alcoholic addressing his problem by smashing his bottles of booze!

Yes, the e-CAS tracker....

What it does is, it automatically logs in to your eCAS, and tracks the progress that way, and alerts you to any updates. However if you deleted the viewing of online status on your e-CAS, chances are the tracker wouldn't be able to login and view the information either.....

Yeah my itchy hands actually deleted the online status for mine and I thought I would still have my partner's as back up :'(
Anyway, is Ecas very essential to our application or I can live without it and not regretting..
Oh well ???

Basically, you wont be able to view it again one you submit the delete option
Only thing it will affect is the ability to see the progression
to find out progression you can contact mp and order gmcs notes.
or you can wait for the good old email.

Why did you delete it though...?! Were you just curious to try and see what would happen?! ;D

Lol cause I was over-obsessed with checking my Ecas haha
And I thought it would just delete my part and my partner would still be able to log in for his part with his UCI etc
Who knows it was the WHOLE application process being deleted lol
