ECAS update for test invite but no letter: urgent

Hi Guys

My wife received an update on ECAS with an appointment time for her test next week. We are located in Calgary. The update indicated an official confirmation letter would be sent but we still have not received it. Does this come via mail or email? We have tried calling CIC numerous times but couldn’t get through. We also sent an inquiry online but haven’t heard back.

Does anyone know where the test location is situated in calgary? I believe its harry hays but not sure exactly where inside Harry Hays

Also should she still show up at the time alotted even if she doesnt receive the official confirmation? What things does she need to bring with her for the test?

Is there any office we can go to get further information locally?

Any input on this would be appreciated.

How did you get your AOR? It should be the same usually.

Sorry, I just checked mine, and mine had come by mail. I think it took a few days. When I get home, I can check see the date I got it if I can figure that out for you.

You’d have to call them to get an answer. Keep ringing them, use multiple phones.

keep ringing IRCC until you get hold of them. It’s better to have the test invite on you or you’ll have to report to the test centre early to do the explaining.
You’d need to take all originals that support your application which includes passports, identification cards, PR card and COPR.

Try these things , Hopefully someone will work

1. Keep checking E-mail , Sometime E-mail comes 1-2 days later.
2. Keep checking your physical mail, you never know.....
3. Send a Web form and state that you got update on online but didn't receive invite.
4. Call at call center, Agent may be able to help you.

Thanks everyone for their feedback! I managed to get through to CIC after trying several times. They confirmed there is nothing to worry. They gave the address and time. They said the letter itself is not required and to ensure my wife comes with the pertinent application documents, passports, PR card etc. They said the apointment is confirmed.
