ECAS Status????

Dear All,

I am a March outland applicat. I got my AOR late last week. I tried to login to ECAS today. I saw the below message. I did not see any status or other information. I logged out. Please help me understand the below.

click the underlined status and it will show you another page a data about your application, did you tried this? if you got logged out maybe theres just a connection problem or they are in a maintenance , try again and see what will happened

don't tick the small box ( left side ) careful on that part just click the underlined part

This is the screenshot of what i see, i cant see any status underlined to click on!! Any thoughts?

That is very odd. Try logging out and logging back in? That message should show up directly under where the sponsor and applicant status' are, but definitely do not click that as you will not be able to check your status online after that.

Hey Kan_sri - i forgot - you are the applicant? i was going to suggest if you are, try using the sponsor's UCI, and/or wait till Tuesday - it's very possible ecas just hasn't got the latest of your info (it can take several days, a week, etc.)

My ecas has decision made for the sponsor part (letter was sent), and application received for the applicant part (this hasn't changed since day 1 - but we had an email from our VO).

i know it's frustrating but likely just isn't updated to show your actual situation

Thank you for your reply, i tried loggin in from two different computers!! But to same effect.I am a bit happy ECAS is allowing me to log in!

Thanks Netkid, i am using the sponsor's UCI. I too think it is not updated yet. I will try again tomorrow.

why is it like that , clean your browser then log again , or try another day

I've been having the same issue and I think I found a fix. View the page with your browser compatibility view!

For example with Internet Explorer:
- First log in like you did before until you get to the page that you should be seeing the ECAS Status.
- Then Click on Tools
- Then Click Compatibility View Settings
- A little box will pop up, then click add.
- Click close
- The page will refresh and you may have to re-log into the site, but it should work!

All browsers have a compatibility view, but some are easier to access then others. I figured I would give you Internet explorer since most people have that on their computer. (Windows based that is)

I just tried to log in again normally and it WORKED!

My guess, the system was not updated with the information to display. Now it shows, Sponsor's address and Sponsored person's name, with 2 more columns, Sponsorship application process and Permanent resident application process.

Status is "In Process" for Sponsorship application & "Application Received" on Permanent Resident Application process.

When i click on "In Process" it says, app received on 5 march, App process started 4 Apr, Mail sent regarding decision made on 4 Apr.

When i click on "Application Received" it says, app received on 5 Mar, Medicals received.

My question is, if decision made mail has been sent, why does it say "In Process" on Sponsorship application?? I have received AOR on 4 Apr by Email, but no word on SA yet.
