ECAS Status changed from "Decision Made" to "In-Process" for Kid?? Why?

Hello Everyone,

I applied as a Family via Paper Application (2 Adults and 1 Kid). The ECAS Status for all of us (2 Adults and 1 Kid) was updated as "Decision Made" on August 15th, 2023. We are now awaiting for our Oath Ceremony as all the other steps are completed (Timeline in Signature).

Now, when I checked ECAS this morning the ECAS Status for the Kid has changed to "In-Process" from "Decision Made". Whereas it is still "Decision Made" for the 2 Adults.

I was wondering if you anyone on the forum has come across a situation like this? Or should I call IRCC to check what is the matter with the Kid's application?

Any advice is appreciated.

@kadir.ayubi : Please let me know how it goes for you. I applied for me and my son (12 years) together in February 2023 paper application. I completed my oath on 10th August, received certificate on 15th August and my file is closed on 15th August as well in tracker. My son's file is still in progress in tracker and ECAS. However, I did not receives separate oath invite for my son which I should have received with my invitation. Upon checking with citizenship clerk during my ceremony, she told me that my son is not schedules for ceremony. After that I did several follow ups by email, calls, webforms but it is still in progress without any further update. Its almost a month now since I completed my ceremony.

Hi @hiren1334 - I just spoke with an agent at IRCC, he said that the "Decision Made" on my daughter's application was done erroneously. Further, he said that for Kids the "Decision Made" status updates only after the Oath Ceremony and until then it would show it as In-Process.

I asked him about our Oath Ceremony, he said it is not scheduled yet and it is all dependent on my Primary Office when they schedule it.

Sounds good. You are lucky. Your daughter's file status updated as Decision Made. I am stuck for son's file.

Not actually, they changed it back to "In Process" from "Decision Made", but I see what you mean.
