Ecas information dissapeared

has anyone had ecas information dissapear?
under the sponsor everything has dissapeared except the line saying that they recieved our applicatoin.

I just had the same thing happen to me. I started a thread asking for an explanation too ..

Not only did it affect August applicants, I think the change they implemented ( for whatsoever reasons ) impacted all applicants. I am a may applicant and my sponsorship was approved end of July. I see my updates ( for sponsor section ) is impacted , only 1 line is shown. I wouldn't worry at all.

Looks to me like a failed update. We are March 2016 and same. It only states that they received it.

ECAS is/was never a reliable tool. The status was updated to decision made through mass update as well. When I was doing my PR application in 2014, there were similar issues. My advice is not to get worried. Your entries will still be on GCMS system.

Most of you are in same step! (AOR received Medical upfront)! I think it's because of the updating process!

what GCMS???..

Yes "global case management system". They have to create an entry before they assign you file number. These are things that work on background. Anytime they review your application, entry will be made in GCMS system. What you see on ECAS ( Electronic Client App Status ), is information pulled from GCMS.
