ecas changes to in process 3 days before refusal???

Hi there... my wife recently got a refusal letter and it was mailed 3 days before '' in process'' appeared on ECAS
The ECAS said application received for 11 months prior and now has changed to in process after she recieved the refusal but not me yet
However there was a address change of mine which was kind of a fiasco but it was about 6 months before so I dont think it's
that but maybe its because of appeal provisions?? because I do plan to file an appeal of course... I was wondering is this a glitch in the system? or is CIC up to something?? because I heard when a refusal is made ECAS would be updated to DECISION MADE... any thoughts??

Do you mind me asking why your case was refused. I read a bit further back and you thought the interview went well. I am curious to know what you meant when you said the officer didn't like that the concerns weren't addressed the way she wanted them to be. Can you elaborate on that.

Regarding the ecas I wouldn't rely on that. It is likely that the system has not been updated at this point or it is simply an error. I would suggest you rely on what you receive in writing and what you see on FOSS notes. Another suggestion would be to give someone at the CIC office a call and let them know that you have been given mixed messages and see what they can suggest.
