Hi All. I'm new to this forum and this is actually my first post. Thanks in advance for helping me out.

I've the following degrees and trying to get them evaluated by WES for Express Entry:
  • M.B.A from American University of Armenia (http://www.aua.am)
  • M.S. in Computer Science from American University of Armenia (http://www.aua.am)
  • B.E. in Software for Computers and Automated Systems from State Engineering University of Armenia (http://www.seua.am)
Two questions:
  1. My Masters are from AUA which is a US-accredited school affiliated with University of California. Do I still need to evaluate these degrees for immigration purposes?
  2. I checked out https://www.wes.org/required-documents/ for steps to get my degrees evaluated. WES explicitly says "do not send us original documents" on their website. However, for degrees from Armenia it says: "For completed study, provide the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia with this document, ask the Ministry to verify your document by apostille and to return to you. You then send the documents directly to WES." -- I'm a little bit confused now? Should I send them my original degrees and transcripts then?

By documents they mean transcripts I am assuming but to be safe give them a call to get more info. Usually to get your docs apostilled, the ministry of foreign affairs would make copies of the original documents you submitted and get them attested. Once they are attested they would give you the attested copies. Those attested copies you would send them to WES Canada directly.

I am not 100% sure though. Maybe other members who have been through this process can guide you better.

Thanks for the response. It doesn't seem that it's the case though. I've been through Russian forums asking the same question. Since the education system is similar to what we have in Armenia, the response was that the original degrees get apostilled and you need to send them directly. This honestly sounds weird to me. Sending the original degree to WES feels unsafe. Where can I get a definitive answer you think?

Call WES Canada for clarification.
