For ECA, CIC states that degree of « xx years or more » to evaluate the duration of degrees.
What is the criteria/standard for the duration of a degree, or the meaning of the word « year »?
If it means the total time between the first semester and the last one, there is a break (leave of absence). I think it does not count?
Then what is the standard used to decide how many years are my degrees?
If it is based on « number of terms/semesters », two semesters count for one year? What about a summer/winter short semester? Do they count as .5 year as well?
I’m sure there are tons of other people curious about this, too! Anyone have anything to share? Thanks so much!
