ECA Wes for FSW OR CEC ?

Hi,
Just wondering if i need an ECA WES for Canadian Experience Class under express entry ? It was my understanding that its only FSW or is that wrong ?
In my profile I state I have a degree but I dont have an ECA.

It's a mandatory requirement for only FSW not CES. But, when you need points for your education you need to get a credential assessment done. As the express entry system is a point based system, you need to have it completed to have better chances irrespective of the type (FSW or CEC)

Even if I say on my profile I have a degree but do not have an ECA, I get 0 points, but if I have an ECA, I will get points for my degree ? Is that how this works ?
