Ok experts... My panic mode is on.

Background : I have an ECA report with IQAS from November 2016. I received invitation in May 2018. I used this report for my CEC profile and submitted all documents.

Today, I received a message in my CIC account that IQAS is not able to provide any information about my ECA as i did not used the authenticated IQAS FSWP IMMIGRATION Online tool while applying for the assesment. In short I applied through open door(an institute that helps new immigrants to get jobs). CIC tells me to contact IQAS and give the ECA access to them in 30 days or my application will be rejected. I called IQAS and they told that I did a "Basic assesment" which is used only for employment purpose and not for immigration and hence I will have to apply a new one.Processing time will be 12 weeks after documents are received....which brings me in shitt....

Maximum I can do is ask a copy of my assesment sent by IQAS to immigration canada in mail.

Any other options ?????

can i go for WES and ask for extension ?

Not allowed, assessment result has to be dated pre ITA. Ask iqas if you pay cost for immigration package, can they release report for CIC?
If they say no then it's bad news for you.

Depends on your score, how can I tell unless you specify it

Consider yourself lucky, you got a good score to get it again, won't affect chances at all

But you will need to get evaluation done again. Would suggest you to request iqas to release and offer to pay their cost for immigration package

You should seek a professional opinion in this matter I guess, from an immigration attorney or consultancy.
Also not sure why dates of WES Assessment shud matter as long as findings from both agencies are same. But then again you shud seek an experts’ opinion. You may go ahead and keep WES applied which can be used if acceptable.

Options
1. If your CRS is good, then withdraw your profile and get ECA first. IQAS says 12 weeks however can provide in 8 weeks (i got in 7 weeks)
2.. IQAS will never expedite the ECA process. However, WES can provide ECA in 20 days (provided you submit your transcripts on Day 0)
3. Once you get ECA from WES and the CRS doesn't drop (lesser than invitation round), you can submit an LOE mentioning everything.
Bonus : WES provides rush service for Course by Course Evaluation in 3 business days, Talk to them on their number and ask for rush service on Immigration ECA report. They might be able to help you.

My University is not listed under WES. It is only listed under IQAS.
