Out of curiosity I am wondering if anyone under the FSW category has been asked to provide his/her ECA reference number in their application

Yes, the application should as you for your ECA number. In fact, anyone who filled out one for the EE profile should dou le check to make sure the number transferred over to their application. There have been several cases, myself included, where the ECA field was blanked out in the application and you have to put it back in.
I filled out the ECA reference number on my application, but did NOT provide a scanned copy of the test results. I got PR back in September.
