ECA questions : IQAS vs WES (Uni of Madras)

Hello all
I am about to start my journey and I have a question on getting the ECA assessment.
These are my questions :
1. I am the main applicant and I plan to have my bachelor's degree assessed by IQAS (it is cheaper - CAN200 + CAD 15). My wife's degree was issued by the University of Madras. I will be using the services of an agent.
He is somewhat aware of the procedures for WES. Is IQAS's procedure any different or more difficult? I do not see a detailed breakup by steps.

2. In either case (WES or IQAS) I will need to pay to WES / IQAS twice and will receive 2 registration numbers.
At the time of creating the EE profile, I will need to specify my WES/IQAS registration number. Will I be able to give my wife's number as well?

3. In summary what are the disadvantages / advantages of IQAS over WES? Which do you recommend I go for? WES is costlier and more popular.

in my opinion WES is much easier and faster from my experience
Yes you will need to open 2 files with 2 different reference numbers one for you and the other for your wife, but you can send both documents in the same big envelope (each in separate sealed envelope with reference number )
