ECA Query

Hi guys,

I have been browsing the forums, and found loads of threads about ECA done through WES. Seems like Canadian credentials can be different to the actual educational qualification achieved.

Though i am not worried, it is just a slight concern that my recent MA degree from the UK might not be recognised as Masters level.

Can anyone refer to the pic (weblink below) and provide some advise in terms of "what to expect"? Worst case scenario, shall i also file for ECA from other organizations like ICAS.?

WES generally seems to count 120 credits as 1 year of study, it appears from your link that you have 290? So that would be not quite a 3 year qualification.
But then again I would have thought UK qualifications would compare fairly equally to Canadian.
Only way to truly know is to send them off to be assessed at least WES has a reasonable assessment time unlike ICAS.

Oh yes, WES is indeed more quicker and reliable as compared to the others.
I was just doubtful if I would be able to my qualification recognised "appropriately" since I have already filed for ECA there. If not, I'd rather start filing the application with ICAS or something, and save the time for later. *Future planning (LOL)*
