Hello Team,

I completed a Master's degree from Australia (1 Year masters) after a Bachelor's degree (4 year, India).

The issue here is the occupation I have experience is NOC 2283 [ NOC-B is it? , I am a Software tester].

How much points will I be able to clam for education under "Core / human capital factors" with spouse

is it 119 or 126?

Have you got your ECA done, what does the ECA Report summary say? Are you applying single or with spouse? These things will help to decide the score.

The confusion was will the points be 119, since the NOC 2283 is B level.
For points calculation there is no relationship between education and NOC, so you will still get 126.

This is from

w w w .cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/ECA_table_EN.pdf

University-level credential at the
Master’s level OR an entry-topractice
professional degree.
CIC only accepts as an entry-topractice
professional degree, those
degrees issued in relation to an
occupation listed at NOC Skill level
A
and for which licensing by a
provincial regulatory body is
required.

I hope you noticed the NOC skill level A, but my occupation is NOC 2283 which is B. So in this case i am confused if it is 119 and not 126.
Sorry for being repetitive, In order to get things right I have to. :(

If you read this carefully you will see that this only applies to entry to practice professional degrees. You will get full points for your master.
