It was my mistake to go for ECA from ICAS (which takes "5 months" to assess equivalency of Certified Degree received. WES, on the other hand takes less than 1 month for all cases (my husband luckly went to WES and received ECA certificate whereas he applied after me.... I have no proper words to comment on ICAS "efficiency" and unable to believe ICAS team belongs to this world - takes 5 months/ 20 weeks for ECA...BE AWARE OF ICAScanada.ca

Add UoT-CES to the list. They were showing 8-9 weeks when I had submitted the application in January 2017 but they took 20 weeks to process it and I finally got my results only during last week of June 2017. Why does it take 20 weeks to issue a one piece of paper. Even after they actually start working on your file, they will take more than 1 or 2 weeks to process it. It is just totally ridiculous. Because of them, I had to apply with WES as well since I didnt wanted to lose points due to approaching birthday in August. Fortunately, I got my ECA from both UoT and WES on time and I have the ITA from last draw but it was cutting it very close due to their inefficiency. It was my mistake to not go with WES in the first place so hopefully people will learn from their fellow board member and not repeat my mistake after reading your and my experience with two different organizations that are not WES.
