ECA by WES steps

I live in usa and studied engineerig in india.

For eca, wes need copy of my degree certificate sent by me and my marksheets to be covered in an offical envelop and sent by my university.
I have to request my university to send the documents to wes.
1.Should i ask my university to send the copy of mark sheets directly to WES. in that case, can i send my degreee certificate seperately from USA. Will they be accountable if i send my documents seperately.
2. What if my university denies to send it to overseas addresses like canada. should i get it to my local address and then forward it to wes ??
3.How to conatct WES. They dont respond if i contact through their 800 number of 416 number

you cannot expect our indian universities that they will send docs to WES. Do 1 thing, send ur all photocopies of ur transcripts, provisional and final mark sheets of all semisters to any of ur frnds or relatives.... tell them pay money for each duplicate transcripts, provisional etcc ... and get the university envelope from them, pack all certificates ( not originals) and get the seal on back side of flip of envelope and courier to WES. WES thinks that university has courired....... easy process.... u will get the work done in 1-2 hours only...... We need to show them the WES application form that they need for evaluation purpose.....ok.....this is the process happend in JNTU, Hyderabad.

You can send COPIES of your degree certificate to WES directly . mention your reference number on the address.

Your college in India needs to send the sealed and stamped envelop containing your transcript to WES directly. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THEM TO PUT YOUR REFERENCE NUMBER AS FIRST LINE IN ADDRESS.

For me it was NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE to have my college send my transcripts directly to WES. (First problem , they didnt know what a transcript is , second problem , they cant ship it to canada).


Best way to contact WES is calling their 416 number at 6 AM EST and be in the queue. It takes 1 hour (yes , 1 hour) before someone can respond. You can also try to CONTINUOUSLY email at contactca@wes.org (like email 2 times every hour with your query and follow up).

Given the situation that you are in USA , I am assuming you are applying for some computer related NOC and my assumption is you are WAY TOO late for that (and so am I).

Ask your friend/ siblings/ relative/ agent etc to go to your Univ in person.. do all the formalities & get the Transcript + WES cover letter(mention REF #) filled & signed by Registrar in a Univ sealed envelope, collect the sealed envelope from Univ and courier it to WES on your own.

Just share my expr. to getting ECA thru WES under FSWP.

i am working in Saudi Arabia and belongs to Pakistan, i approached for my B.E degree attestation from HEC through Gerry's international.

i sent below list,
1. HEC filled in and signed Application form
2. Receipt of payment (Western Union Receipt)
3. Original Matriculation and Intermediate level certificates
4. Original Transcripts and Degrees for all levels attended from Bachelors till final.
5. A)Photocopies of certificates and degrees from Matriculation till the final level attended(For HEC Records)
5. B)Photocopies of degree & Transcript (For WES
Attestation)
6. Copy of National I.D. Card/passport of the applicant
7. Applicant Contact detail
8. Application for Seal Envelope to Submit WES.

Hopefully i will recieved within two days, and now that same sealed envoploe send to WES,

Some one know how much time they will take?
