ECA assessment

Hello,
I am a post-doc in Canada and trying to understand how to arrange ECA assessment of my PhD diploma obtained in Denmark.
How to apply, to send the documents online or by post, or the university has to send the documents? How to choose the institution, as there are several opportunities. It is very confusing to me.
I have work permit in Canada and work experience for 2 years in Canada. Do I still need to get ECA assessment for my diploma?
I also have MD (medical doctor) diploma. Do I need to get ECA for this one as well? It is really complicated.

Your PhD degree if considered equivalent to Canadian PhD will give you maximum points for education. Having said that European universities are well aware of this ECA process for Canadian immigration. Request your university to send transcripts in a sealed cover directly to your assessment agency. I requested my university in France and they promptly sent it on the same day to my assessment agency.

For a PhD you normally need a letter as PhD's don't have transcripts like other degrees. I used WES to do the ECA assessment and they will tell you what you need to send them (usually a degree certificate if it exists, transcripts or a letter outlining your grade etc.) . Remember that you will also need this information/documentation for your EE application. So when requesting evidence from your Danish university make sure they send it to WES for assessment directly and that you also get a copy yourself so you can upload evidence on your EE profile. I only have a MA but had to upload the degree certificate and transcripts on my profile even though they had been accredited by WES.

Either your university sends it directly to assessment agency or you get that sealed envelope and send it yourself to assessment agency. My university sent a copy of my degree certificate in a sealed envelope.

Do you think your PhD degree from Denmark will be considered equivalent to Canadian PhD? If yes then there is no need to send your MD credentials for assessment.

WES gives you an address that you can request your university can send directly to on your behalf. There's a reference number they need to add to the address. Depending on the university and language of the certificates it can take a bit longer than from a UK university for example. Once WES had received all my documents it took maybe 2 weeks for them to have everything accredited. Between my asking for certificates from my universities and WES receiving them and assessing them took me about 6 weeks in total. All my credentials were from UK and Irish institutions. I would imagine as it's a PhD and there might be a language/translation issue, I'd allow 8-10 weeks for the entire process (from your university mailing WES everything and them processing the ECA, but it might be faster)

Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Law via IGNOU. I already have a bachelors in Engg. Will this PG certificate course + BE considered as "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees;?
Could you please opine?
