ECA assessment (WES) for an incomplete degree

My first post, please be nice as you are Thanks - I don't know a great deal about ECA but after digging for a while I got the gist of it.

Is it a good idea to send an incomplete degree for ECA assessment?

I was unable to complete my Masters Degree, however was awarded a PGd Certificate instead (Software Engineering in a UK university). I gained 60 credits out of 180, had family/personal problems and could not complete my Masters. I have a fairly good BSc Degree and pretty good IELTS.

Shall I skip this qualification and only do ECA assessment for the BSc. Hons or you guys suggest I can send the incomplete MSc for assessment too?

I would suggest to send the PGdiploma.. its usually considered as a 1 year diploma... its possible to do it on its own without completing the Masters for some places... as long as you have a certificate or diploma completed, I would suggest to send it..

Please send it. Hopefully you will be awarded "Two or more Degrees" instead of "Bachelors". Thay way you get more points.

Hi, my friend is also in a similar situation.

he has an incomplete masters. However, he was given a PD Diploma from a UK university. He has requested for his transcripts, now what he wants to know here is in his WES what should he mention for his evaluation. Masters or PD Diploma?
