I have been looking at the WES website and the threads about submission of documents and the process is not very clear, and seems rather vaguely explained.

Can anyone that has actually done this please explain briefly what the actual process involves, step by step?
Like... from step 1 until the end.

fyi: I am trying to get my Australian bachelor of arts degree verified.
I have the original academic transcript in my possession. Can I submit that to WES with my degree (should it be the original or a certified copy?), or does it HAVE TO come from the university?>

Transcripts must be sent by the university directly to WES. Degree photocopies must be sent by you to WES.

Review requirements for Australia here:

I think it's wrong. Official transcripts can be collected by applicant and can be forwarded to WES in sealed envelope intact. But in the case of ICAS it has to be directly sent to them by the issuing authority.
Step 1 register online with WES with all your degrees/certificates which you need to assessed.
2 Get the reference number
3 Download reference letter, fill it and send/submit to University/College along with photocopies and payments
4 Pay evaluation fees using credit card/bank draft.
5 When you apply, give the address of WES if you want it to be sent directly or to the address you work with (usually it wouldn't be sent to your personal address)
6 Collect the transcripts duly authorised signed and in sealed envelope and don't tamper
7 Send it along with other transcripts if there any with a cover letter to WES. Don't forget to enclose photocopies of all mark lists/certificates/bank draft if u pay by it
Remarks: Evaluation application is different for FSWP and further study. Hope it's clear,td

The option to do that is listed by WES for India and Pakistan. Even then the transcript has to be in a sealed official envelope not just an old transcript.

why is this so unnecessarily convoluted and complicated?

I mean, how long is it going to take me just to get this stuff in order so that I can then send off to WES.

starting to seem like a nightmare....

Too much document fraud / misrepresentation by past applicants.

Hello,

I am new to the forum... maybe this has been answered before, so my apologies in advance.

I have a WES US evaluation, can I use it for immigration or it has to be from WES Canada?

I only have 35 days to comply, and my consultancy firm only informed me that evaluation should be from Canada.

I don't want to do the process over again (going to my university, getting all the documents, then the waiting time period before submission to WES).

I fear that if I do it all over again, I cannot comply with the 35 days remaining.
