E-CAS down today

I've tried E-CAS a couple of times today. The first time it was freakishly slow and now it is down altogether. Maybe they took it down because of all the status updates they have to do after the Christmas holidays? That's what I keep telling myself... hihihi...

If you wait long enough the page updates, but yes its bee slow since last night.

I was hoping that the slowness means that they are updating case statuses , but that does not seem ot be the case.

I think they are updating statuses because it says that statuses will be updated usually on Tuesdays so hopefully this is the case!!

It did not happen to last Tuesday(s). I really don't know the reasons. Ecas down for updating statuses or for website maintenance. Who knows???

Ecas's accessible now, even it's extremely slow. The bad news is that my status is not changed. Hello, I thought my PR app must be finalized this week. It takes 1 month and half since I sent my passport to them. What's wrong??? It's driving me crazy...So sad.....

Ecas is still NOT working for me . . . I still can't access it!!! Although I doubt anything has changed on it for me!

Thank you Suin. My visa office is Singapore. It's supposed to take 2-3 weeks for getting passport back with visa. However, my case takes 7 weeks. The letter of passport request stated "We are ready to issue you a visa"....

No, I'm not in Singapore. I'm in Vietnam. Is there still a chance that they would refuse my app even though I receive passport request. I have a bad feeling. It's now 3 a.m and cannot sleep.

if they were ready to issue you visa, so you shouldn't worry about it. just relax and try to think positive. they might be busy now with other applications or Olympics season.

which way do you expect them to mail you your passport?

they don't say anything on their webpage about a scheduled downtime/update. Don't they usually do that?
So I guess it's something that's not planed such as an attack or a deamon going crazy and using all the resources. Or too many people trying again and again to find out about their status after the holidays... ;-) (I would be one of them)
