Durham College September 2018 Intake from the Philippines

Hi! Is there anyone here from the Philippines who will be in Durham College this coming September?

hi! dapat sept 2018 intake ako. pero nagpa deferred ako for jan 2019. end of may ko na kasi natanggap loa ko.

nag apply ka na po ba ng visa?

Sa Durham College din po ba kayo? I think ok lng sana if you applied after you get your LOA since I applied online last june 14 and I got my application approved last july 27.

yes po, sa oshawa campus. nag apply ako last sept 2017 pa. tapos nag ielts ako ng nov 2017. natapos ko mag submit ng mga school docs ko nung march. sds ka po nag apply or regular stream?

Same here, sa oshawa campus din ako. What program are you going to take? Regular application lng po.

computer systems technician (transfer to uoit). hindi pa ako nag apply ng visa. bale mag aapply ako thru sds. nakabayad na ko ng 1 yr tuition pero di pa ako nakakuha ng gic, mga next week pa ko mag wire transfer. tapos na din ako ng medical sa iom. pag regular stream, anong docs mga sinubmit mo? 1yr din tuition ang binayaran mo?

congrats! ang bilis ng approval mo. . sana ma approve din ako. kelan na ang flight mo? may free airport pick up di ba? and 1 night free accomdation sa campus?

Ahh ok, mas mabilis ang processing thru SDS. Online application ako and i attached the ff docs: LOA, passport, proof of financial support (bank statement/my COE & ITR/OR for the tuition payment), photo, statement of purpose and NBI clearance in soft copy. Ngpa.medical after na i received a request from them. 1st sem tuition lng yung binayaran ko.

Thank you po. Exactly 6 weeks yung processing ng application ko, same dun sa processing time na binigay nila if processed in PH. Soon kayo din po, just pray hard and always think for the positive result. Maybe 2nd week of august. Oo meron po, mgsend nmn cla ng email if you want to avail and for reservation.

anong program mo nga po pala? nagpa reserve ka po for the free accomodation? kung sakali need ko makalipad ng jan 2 kasi yung international orientation para sa january intake ay jan 3.

dapat pala makuha ko result ko bago mag end of november para makapag resign pa ko ng maayos sa office

Project management po yung program ko. Hindi po ako ngpa.reserve ng accommodation since i'll be staying sa bahay ng sister ko kasi nasa durham region lng din po kasi sila nakatira.

The sooner po kayo mg.apply the better. How long po will it take to process the application thru SDS?

hindi ko lang alam boss kung gano katagal. nag opt lang ako ng sds para mas less financial docs kailanganin. dun naman ako sa bayaw ko titira. sa ajax sila, about 30mins by bus sa oshawa campus.

Ahh malapit lng pala tayo kasi sa pickering nakatira yung ate ko, it's the city before ajax. Mas malapit yung titirhan mo sa oshawa campus pero mabuti nga may U-pass ang school and they give full-time students access to durham buses within durham region.

nga pala boss, yung sp mo may nakalagay na allowed ka mag work off campus?

Wla pa po kasi yung permit is ibibigay dw yun upon arrival sa port of entry. Bale visa stamped in your passport lng yung ibibigay before going.
