Duration of bank balance maintenance

how much time is usually spent till PR issuance after sending bank statement to Visa office ? So how many months I need to maintain balance in bank after sending bank statement as proof of funds?
Will I be able to withdraw some amount and then deposit again Or I will have to maintain that minimum balance till PR issuance?

As per my knowledge u need to retain it as dead money till u get ur visa stamped.
