Hi All,

For a person born in USA and living in canada under the visitor visa, applied for the PR under the Sponsorship category. So, here .... he is not needed to send his Original passport to the CPP-O office ... In this case, he is just requested for the softcopy of the passport, fund evidence (for sponsor's) and the canada presence evidence (for sponsor's).

So here, from the time we get the PPR (soft copy/ scanned copy/ xerox copy) & respond to them the necessary documents, how many days the CPP-Ottawa takes for sending out the CORP ?

Any clues based on the experience ?

It also depends on whether they request additional information after requesting pass port or copy of passport. Ours took over 2 months but we had to redo the photos.
